The laser mount connects a small laser module to an existing hole on the long-range IR distance sensor (attached to the Two-Axis servo pointer). Meanwhile, the "Compass mount" links a Radio Shack proto board holding the compass to the robot chassis holes (located at the back and up for distance from the WiFi board in front). Furthermore, awesome wheels by destos are being adapted with an "V3" connector to DF Robot geared axle. This conversion requires time as it involves transforming the controller and bot from 2 wheel drive to 4-wheel drive for Mecanum effect implementation. Lastly, shaft encoder details are yet to be disclosed.
