This is a set of mods I made to move all of the wiring on an Ender 5 to the left side. I have a Makergadgets Innovator Control enclosure, and the wiring access point is on the back left. To get the electronics outside of the enclosure, I had to make these changes to the Ender 5. **Note that these changes require flashing your firmware.** First is a support brace for the bed wiring with two points for zip ties. You'll need an M4 x 12mm screw to secure this where the stock M4 x 10mm currently on the back left of the bed carriage. Second is a rotated Y limit switch. Remove the current Y limit switch plate, put it on the rotated version, and mount on the front left bracket. The last part is optional: it's a cover for the X stepper belt with zip tie holes built in. You'll also need to reverse the X gantry. To do so: 1. Have a plan for the control box wiring. 2. Unplug everything. 3. Remove all of your interior Y axis POM wheels (the ones with eccentric nuts). Continue removing wheels until you can remove the gantry and reverse it. 4. *Important:* Remove the belt tensioner. Note that the bearing is offset to one side. Unscrew the lock nut, remove the bearing, and unscrew the hex nut. *Flip the metal plate* and reassemble and reinstall. 5. Adjust the X limit switch. Look where the nozzle gets to the left edge of the build plate and tighten the limit switch there. You'll need to use a T nut and M4 x 8mm or M4 x 10mm screw to replace the stock one. *This screw needs to be button head--socket head will block the limit switch cabling. 6. Finally, flash your firmware. INVERT_X_DIR and INVERT_Y_DIR should both change, I believe to false.
