Mirrored Axis Text Print

Mirrored Axis Text Print

thingiverse

I created this guide to simplify the process of identifying if you have a mirrored axis. When I built my own printer, I encountered issues with prints coming out in reverse, and trying to pinpoint whether it was an X or Y issue, or both, was quite confusing. To help clarify things, I made this guide to help pinpoint the problem. I haven't tested the guide yet, but if you think there's anything that should be added, let me know and I'll make sure to include it. I also created four versions of the guide, each tailored to a different homing position based on your printer's configuration. Each version has three options: 1mm, 2mm, or 3mm height prints. This will help reduce testing time and give you an indication if your Z height is correct - although it's not a test for Z height itself. The files are labeled clearly: FLTest1mm = FrontLeft1mm This file is designed for printers with a zero/homing position in the front left, with the 1mm option being just one of three choices.
