Mirror - motor mount
thingiverse
This module creates a mirrored motion for laser Spirograph systems. The reflection angle is adjusted to three degrees, offering precise results. Installation requires securing a small section of double-sided tape onto the mirror, facilitating effortless attachment to the circular base. Similarly, attaching the motor unit to the designated mount utilizes the same adhesive properties combined with an added cable tie. This measure helps in reducing excess noise produced by the mechanical movement. Please note that the image showcases a computer CD drive's miniature engine; nearly all music players possess this diminutive motor embedded within their internal mechanics. A system update includes revising the mirror support from a six-degree inclination to three, with a secondary adjustment shortening the drive shaft's length to precisely 10 millimeters.
