Mirror/Glass cutting jig
thingiverse
I constructed a custom mirror cutting jig from readily available materials I had on hand. I acquired a box of six 12x12 inch glass tiles for $10 at Home Depot, which work perfectly for print bed applications. To create the base, I utilized a 15" x 15" piece of 3/4-inch plywood. For the glass stops, I cut two pieces of 1/8" x 1" x 15" plywood, and to mount the rod holders, I used two scraps of 1/2" x 5/8" x 7-1/4" material. The additional materials required are: an 8mm x 400mm rod, two 8mm rod supports, one 8mm linear bearing block, four M4x12 socket head cap screws, and a compass-type glass cutter, which can be purchased on Amazon at https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KA5QL6G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
