Mir-1b Lens Rehousing
cults3d
Since the Mir-1b is not too usabel for video work, I decided to construct a rehousing meant for video and cinema use. The parts fit very snug on the lens so there's no need for taking the lens apart. All parts are held together with grub screws. The front diameter measures 95mm, so works with clamp-on mattboxes while it maintains an inner diameter of 82mm for screw on filter (step up rings needed). I also encourage to adapt the M42 mount to an EF mount. Parts needed: - 8x M3 grub screws - step up rings: 49 -52, 52-55,55-58, 58-62, 62-67, 67-72, 72-77, 77-82 - tape & sanding paper Info: Some parts might need some sanding to fit perfectly. Also using ducktape helps to get the right fit. The crews secure the parts additionally. If you have any input on the deisgn let me know! I'm constatntly updating the designs of my rehousings!
