Steve Anas describes his piece creation: "Inspired replica of a one-of-a-kind Minotaur head, showcased in the Heraklion museum in Crete, Greece. According to Greek mythology, the Minotaur was a creature with a bull's head on a human body. It resided at the center of the Cretan Labyrinth, an intricate maze designed for King Minos of Crete by renowned architect Daedalus. The Minotaur met its demise at the hands of Athenian hero Theseus. Interestingly, the Minotauros' proper name Asterion, meaning "the starry one," suggests a connection to the constellation Taurus. This piece was cast in bronze with verdigis patina and adorned with golden horns. It stands on a black green marble base. (Credit: Steve Anas) This object is part of "Scan The World".
