Minotaur 54mm
pinshape
I'm back after a short break from real life. I finished this last month. The 52 mm Minotaur stands about 70mm tall, and it's lightly inspired by the KOBL Minotaur. I highly recommend using HIPS printing for my figures on FFF machines, but this one should be big enough to handle without any issues. To get the best results with HIPS printing, try dialing down the speed. This model is designed specifically for HIPS printing. You can find 28mm model versions available through timeportalgames.com or buy them at https://www.shapeways.com/shops/timeportalgames. Assembly required: This figure will likely need an xacto blade, sanding, and superglue to assemble the weapons and shields. We recommend the following settings for slicing: * Layer height: Between 0.2mm * Auto-support: Between 1-1.5mm or 40-50% HIPS fill * Fill Density: 15% or greater * Three shells * Print speed: 30 outlines, 75 fill Additional notes: Using a glass plate with HIPS slurry allows you to heat the plate only up to 100c without any issues. You can find many free designs available at https://timeportalgames.com/print-settings. Printer settings: * Printer Brand: MakerBot * Printer: MakerBot Replicator * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 350000 poly * Infill: 15% * Notes: Dissolvable filament print Post-printing: * Brush acetone on the flesh areas * Use acrylic paint
