Minolta SR/MC/MD Rear Lenscap

Minolta SR/MC/MD Rear Lenscap

thingiverse

This rear lens cap is designed specifically for Minolta SR (MC, MD) lenses, used on SLRs from 1958. Despite being orphaned after Minolta switched to an autofocus mount in 1985 due to flange-to-film distance issues, these lenses work great with mirrorless cameras like the Sony A7/A7R. Although rear caps are still available, this one boasts a stylish touch. Printed without supports, unsupported spans may be poorly bonded but are internal, so they don't matter. This cap is not affiliated with Minolta and uses the pre-1981 lowercase "minolta" logo to identify the mount, which may vary slightly based on lens flange thickness. Print in PLA at 0.25mm and 25-40% fill; paint white lettering in embossed text for readability.
