Minolta MC/MD to Canon EOS mount

This is an adapter for Minolta MC/MD lenses that can be used with Canon EOS DSLR cameras. It allows these lenses to fit properly into the camera, enabling accurate use of focus distances and even infinity focus on the Minolta lenses. Note: This design has some differences from commercially available solutions because it takes into account the flange focal length. This project is still a work in progress and updates will continue to be made. Since I don't own a 3D printer, I take my designs to a local facility for printing. This may slow down changes on this project. Update: Mount MKII has an increased external diameter due to the ABS shrink issue. Although it didn't solve the problem as expected, the updated design is available in case others can learn from these mistakes. After some work with a rotary tool for sanding and adjusting the flaps, I was able to get the adapter to fit onto the camera mount. I took my first photos without holding the lens by hand. However, since the internal diameter wasn't adjusted for shrinkage (and due to flaws in the original design), the Minolta lenses do not fit as expected. This results in an additional 3mm or so of flange distance, making it impossible to focus objects beyond 120cm. Next time I'll try printing with PLA to avoid this problem. Note: ABS plastic is softer than I initially thought.
