This versatile fitting adapter, crafted with TPU, enables secure attachment of an 82mm threaded metal lens shade to the Minolta AF 28-135mm F/4-4.5 Zoom lens. The adapter securely fastens onto the metal lens hood and snugly fits over the end-bell of the lens without any obstructions. It poses no interference with UV/ND filter mounting, allowing for seamless use of pinch type lens caps as well. This adapter is specifically designed to work in conjunction with a Fotga brand 82mm threaded metal lens hood, readily available from multiple sellers on Ebay. As can be seen from the warm red hue cast by the grommet within the hood, it's advisable to select a dark, neutral color for your print material instead of bright red, which was unfortunately my initial choice. Fortunately, a black Sharpie came to the rescue, saving my hood adapter from being irreparably flawed!
