Miniwhip Antenna Waterproof Case
thingiverse
This is a straightforward waterproof housing for a Miniwhip antenna clone originating from China. The specified antenna measures 80mm by 35mm in size, accompanied by an included power injector. I deliberately designed the enclosure to be waterproof. The two components are secured together with a threaded connection. A lip on top of the antenna can be sealed with sealant for enhanced waterproofing. To install the antenna, first screw it into the lid until it is flush with the base (refer to the fourth picture). Next, insert the antenna into the top portion and secure them together by screwing. The SMA connector is not designed to be waterproof. Sealant can also be applied to the underside and the SMA connector of the antenna to prevent water from entering the casing. The power injector's housing is uncomplicated. Simply place the PCB inside with the correct orientation, and seal it with two screws, M3 x 10mm minimum, featuring a countersunk flat hex head (ISO 10642).
