My little boy got some tiny Thomas train engines as a gift, and they're smaller than the standard Brio trains that run on wooden tracks. I don't know what kind of track they're meant to run on, but it looks like there's a T-bar in the middle that keeps the train on the right path. Since my son had some new train engines, he needed some tracks to run them on. Instead of buying proper tracks, I decided to print them myself. I looked online for designs that would work, but couldn't find any good ones, so I drew up my own track design. This is the result - a simple 45-degree curved section of track. I left out the T-bar that's probably in the official version, and just added a single straight bar in the middle where the bracket on the bottom of the engines fits around to keep the train steady. It was quick and easy, and now my son can play with his new trains properly. Eight of these curved sections will make a complete circle (360mm diameter). I haven't thought about drawing more track configurations yet - for now, it's working perfectly well.
