Minisiforum HX99G Fan Upgrade
thingiverse
The HX99G is actually very well designed. However, when I expanded the system with my 2TB NVMe, I realized that it was heating up very much. After feeling it a bit, it became clear that there wasn't enough air at the bottom, so it was getting warmer and warmer until the hard drive actually came out.The idea was not only to ventilate the housing, but also to attach feet to the bottom so that the air can escape symmetrically to the left and right. The fan draws air into the system from below. There is already a free PWM slot on the mainboard (SYS), but it can only really be controlled via PWM (4 PIN). So the wiring is internal. The 120mm fan can only be 15mm high, in my case oneThermalright TL-C12015W-S.
