MiniRobot
thingiverse
This is my first creation, a robot that started as a complex machine but has been simplified by removing some sensors and an LCD display for easier operation. I'm planning to add these features later. This project is my proof of concept for building electronics from scratch and designing a two-wheeled vehicle. It's controlled by Bluetooth using a phone, which is currently compatible with Android devices and will be available on iOS in the future. The design was created using Autodesk 123D Design, and the design file has been uploaded for reference. The source code for Arduino, the mobile app, and documentation for electronics can be found at https://github.com/pjnovas/minirobot. I used pre-made gears from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3575 to simplify the build process. To assemble this robot, you'll need the following components: * 2 x 608 bearings * 8 x 2.5mm screws * 2 x M3 screws * 2 x DC motors * 1 x 9v battery For electronics information, check out https://github.com/pjnovas/minirobot/tree/master/docs/electronics. The design file has been uploaded in case you need to modify the electronics or use different motors. This file will also come in handy if you want to build another version of this robot using a custom Arduino Uno, Nano, or Mini. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer: Prusa i3 * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.4 / 0.3 * Infill: 15% Note: Depending on the parts and how they are printed, there may be no need to use supports. Every part was printed at 10% - 20% infill.
With this file you will be able to print MiniRobot with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on MiniRobot.
