This is a submission for the Autodesk Fusion 360 Challenge presented by MakerBot. MiniPegS is a cutting-edge, miniaturized pegboard system designed to bring the versatility of traditional pegboards to any workspace. This innovative system consists of two compact desktop pegboards that can be used independently or easily clipped together for enhanced storage and transportation capabilities. Despite being miniaturized to a 13”x10” size, each desktop pegboard features the standard 'large hole' configuration, allowing users to utilize existing pegboard accessories, either provided by other makers on Thingiverse or custom-made with their own design. This flexibility enables individuals to create personalized organizational systems tailored to their unique needs. The large flat back of each desktop pegboard is ideally suited for mounting corkboards or whiteboards, providing a convenient space for writing notes or storing information when the pegboard is not in use. For those without dedicated workspaces, MiniPegS' clips and handle can be easily used to attach two desktop pegboards together for transportation or storage, offering a quick and efficient solution. All components of the system, excluding corkboards and whiteboards, can be 3D printed. To accommodate users with limited print volumes, each pegboard and backing has been split into four parts, which are then fastened together using super glue and designed dovetail joints. This innovative design distributes loads effectively across the components, minimizing reliance on the interface between the glue and 3D printed materials. To construct a single desktop pegboard, users will need to print: (2) Back Panels (2) Mirrored Back Panels (14) Dovetail Joints For the Pegboard: (2) Pegboard Panels (2) Mirrored Pegboard Panels (8) Pegboard Dovetail Joints Alternatively, users can opt for pre-purchased pegboard and simply require spacers. I have designed suitable spacers, which consist of (4) Pegboard Spacers. To assemble the complete MiniPegS system, users will need another set of the listed parts above, as well as: (12) Side Attachments (4) Standard Clips (2) Handle Clips (2) Handle Pegs (1) Handle In line with the competition's spirit, I have designed and provided a collection of my own pegboard storage accessories. These accessories are not intended to be an exhaustive list but rather a starting point for users to create personalized systems tailored to their unique needs.
