Minion Quadcopter Side Panels
thingiverse
Side panels for the Minion quadcopter were crafted with one purpose in mind - compatibility with the Minion PDB. This ensured that the white LED's remained visible at all times. Printing these side panels with translucent filament would have a profound effect, as it would cause the LED's to illuminate the sides beautifully. The design also features strategically placed holes on both the front and back, allowing users to secure them in place using zip ties. While this may seem like a necessary step, positioning the posts correctly can actually prevent the need for these ties altogether. Furthermore, there is a notch located at the top of each panel, which I personally use in conjunction with shrink wrap antennae holders for my D4R-II receiver. In the provided images, lettering was added to the side panels for visual appeal. However, it's essential to note that the original files do not contain any lettering, giving users the freedom to add their own custom designs or keep them plain as desired.
