Minion Goggles PVC Periscope Ends
thingiverse
My wife had a work team building project that required creating something, but I'm not sure what exactly it was about. They drew up a Minion periscope design, which they thought would work perfectly for their task. However, I doubted my ability to 3D print the whole thing - it seemed like an extremely difficult feat beyond my skill level. I decided to combine existing designs in Tinkercad instead. These two prints were some of my longest yet, and checking on filament usage wasn't something I was used to doing. One morning, I woke up to find that the printer had been running without filament for hours already. Figuring it was a lost cause, I switched to black filament and manually edited the gcode to restart the print. Somehow, amazingly, it worked out in the end. They plan to paint the entire thing, including the PVC parts. Once it's assembled and painted, I'll get some more pictures.
