Minion Goggles - Configurable
thingiverse
We're all unique, just like minions are. So, let's get started on how to become a minion with the perfect look and fit. To begin, you'll need to measure the distance between your eye pupils while looking away. Next, take note of the distance across your cheekbones - this will help determine the size of your goggles. Finally, measure the flat area of your forehead to figure out how round your head is and ensure a proper fit for your glasses. Now that we've got those measurements, let's move on to measuring the size of your nose. We need both height and width (across the nostrils), as well as the angle of your nose from the apex of the bridge to the tip. To get an accurate reading, measure the offset of your nose from the center of your pupils by moving the starting point up or down depending on its position. Remember, kids have smaller noses, so lower the starting point by at least 5 mm. With those measurements in hand, it's time to purchase some elastic band for the strap and input those dimensions. Don't forget to add a millimeter to both width and thickness for a snug fit. By the way, high-resolution designs were uploaded on April 25th, 2019, along with the STL file. However, please note that this design is fixed, unchangeable, and suitable only for adults with faces in the 50 percentile. The straps are 15 mm wide and 1 mm thick. Scaling the design might seem like a good option, but it will also affect strap sizes, face profiles, and more. Instead, take some time to configure your goggles specifically for you.
