I got motivated by all those cork friends. It's an excellent way to hone my rhino rendering skills and Meshmixer proficiency. This is number 3 in my Cork (Corkie) series. Use the search term "Corkie" to find the others. As a reminder, corks come in different diameters. Resize your STL file on a 3d scale at the hole diameter. If you're using Makerbot, load both files then resize to simplify the process. I raised the head part up one notch off the print bed, which sets all supports equal and provides better adhesion. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: standard Infill: 50% Notes: I printed PLA with juice. Bed temperature was 110, the extruder was at 232. I performed a little clean-up and finished it in the acetone wash. I'm not satisfied with the bottom of the goggles. I'll experiment with support settings.
