This 3D model represents boots from the Dutch National Mining Museum in Heerlen, The Netherlands. Located within the old Oranje Nassau I mine shaft, the museum showcases donated items by former miners and their families. Mining boots were crucial safety gear due to the hazardous working conditions, which included muddy terrain and treacherous labor. Various styles of mining boots existed, but these particular boots are rubber slip-ons. The model itself faced numerous challenges during creation, resulting in an inaccurate representation of the original physical object. Nonetheless, it provides a general outline.
