I use the Minimus Shroud and backplate on my Aquila printer and wanted to print the updated version. The shroud has to be a 'snap fit' to the backplate and I knew from experience that this often requires fine tuning of the 'horizontal expansion' in cura to get the exact fit of shroud to backplate, using more time and materials than needed to enable the fit to be confirmed. This size tester takes approx 34 minutes to print, so far quicker than the full shroud and uses less filament. In my case I needed a horizontal expansion value of -0.1 for the snap. Once the correct expansion settings are confirmed the full shroud can be printed. Note the pictures show an earlier version of the tester - the STL file no longer has the curved parts as they are not necessary to prove the fit The full minimus Hotend Cooler System is available on https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/minimus-hotend-cooler-system
