Lubrication is pretty important for any milling and lathe work. However, I didn't want to flood everything with oily stuff which is why I opted for mist-lubrication of cooling. The core is an assembly I purchased ready made directly from China as it is priced so well (~$7 incl. shipping!) that it doesn't make sense to make an own one. On the lathe it is held by the unused side of the small aluminum QCTP. A printed block just slides over the dovetail and the MQL unit is screwed on with two M5x25mm allan screws. To make change over as easy and quick as possible the entire lathe assembly just slides onto a mounting bracket on the milling machine. This bracket fits all Sieg X1/SX1 and the 100 rainbow colored derivatives. It is attached with the screw of the top cover (center) which has to be replaced with an M4x15mm one.
