It's Modelled in OpenSCAD, an elegant solution it is not, but it works just fine.\n\nThe extra tabs were added to prevent the sheild from popping out during a shake test.\n\nSliced in Slic3r with 2 perimeters and no infill at all. This means that the stand off is somewhat flexible and possibly more comfortable even when printed in ABS.\nPrinted on an old reprap mendel with a 1mm nozzle, a layer height of 1.1mm can be achieved without losing solidity. Speed has to be reduced to 12mm/s for my old extruder, still gets the print done in 10 minutes.\nYou can modify the standoff to fit goggles by changing the os parameter in OpenSCAD file.\nThere are some calculations needed to get a 2 thread thick wall at the top of the file. Normally this would be a rectangle plus 2 semicircle thread model, but it's been fudged for the abnormal layer height. So if you change the nozzle and layer height, you'll also need to change the build width. That sounds confusing.\n
