It's Modelled in OpenSCAD with a dash of creativity, far from elegant but it gets the job done. Based on https://3dverkstan.se/protective-visor's European A4 4-hole version. I used card instead of acetate for now since I don't have any acetate yet. The extra tabs were added to prevent the shield from popping out during a shake test. To make it work, just bundle all the files in a folder called visor so the includes can function properly. You can adjust the standoff to fit goggles by modifying the os parameter in the OpenSCAD file. Sliced with Slic3r using 2 perimeters and no infill at all, which means you'll only print the outline of the standoff. This results in a flexible stand off that's possibly more comfortable when printed in ABS. If you want a solid stand off, just switch on the bottom layer. I printed it on an old reprap mendel with a 1mm nozzle; I managed to get a layer height of 1.1mm without compromising solidity. To avoid any issues, reduce the speed to 12mm/s for my old extruder, and it'll still print in about 10 minutes. P.S. There are some calculations to achieve a 2-thread thick wall at the top of the file. Normally, this involves creating a rectangle with two semicircle thread models, but I had to fudge it for the unusual layer height. So, if you change your nozzle and layer height, don't forget to adjust the build width accordingly.
