The redesigned printable filament spool features an upgraded "Heavy duty" model, addressing issues with the previous design such as dovetail breakages and oversized holder arm. The new dovetail is significantly larger to prevent breaking, while also incorporating a pressure-relief flap. The holder arm has been reduced in size but still offers adequate support, and the length has been shortened for faster print times. The spool utilizes a 608 bearing for the axis, a common component among users. Measurements include an arm length of 200mm from the far end to center, and holder base to center at 150mm. Printed with 50% infill, the dovetail provides a good fit that may be slightly loose on highly accurate printers.
