Minimalistic X-rod mount
thingiverse
An x-rod mount design inspired by Prusa Mendel features a low-profile structure that presses a screw against the rod for secure placement. I encountered issues with TwiceRevved's version, so I incorporated the clamp into the base to prevent y-axis skipping. To assemble, place the captive nut in the slot above the rod hole, insert the rod, and affix the clamp inside the Cupcake body using four screws. Securely fasten the clamping screw to lock the rod in place; a ball-end hex driver may be necessary for this task.
