I've misplaced my old leather wallet so many times that it's essentially been a waste of space for years now. The problem lies in its bulkiness; the wallet is too large to stay in my pocket, so I end up removing it and leaving it at friends' places, in the office or at restaurants. What I needed was something straightforward and uncomplicated. It should only hold four cards: my Visa card, my social security card, driver's license, and the key card for my online banking. I decided against incorporating a clip for banknotes because I rarely carry any cash, and if I do have some, they can stay in my pocket along with coins and keys. Once you've printed two parts (or more, depending on how many compartments you want), you assemble them using five rubber bands. I initially used 15x2 mm O-rings since that's what was readily available at home; however, I think I'll suggest something less rigid in the future because it was extremely tight and required some effort with tweezers to fit into place.
