This is what happens when your soap keeps slipping around, forcing you to choose a design online in a hurry, but fortunately, you have an easy-to-use CAD at hand and a reliable 3D printer. The lower fences help to direct water away from the stand. With minimal design effort, this simple solution has been working for me for over a year now. Print Settings Notes: Just print the part with your preferred printer using the default orientation from the STL file, making sure the drain fences are on top. If you need to make any changes, the source file is provided in Geomagic Design format. Post-Printing To minimize bacterial growth and rough surfaces caused by FFD 3D printers in humid environments like bathrooms, I recommend printing with a material that can be easily smoothed. I printed mine in ABS and used acetone vapors to smooth it out. The stand stays wet all the time, but so far, there are no signs of mold. The smoothing process also gave the plastic a porcelain-like look and feel. Warning: Acetone vapors are toxic and hazardous, so be sure you know what you're doing. There are plenty of online tutorials on how to do acetone smoothing safely.
