Minimalistic MBE replacement
thingiverse
I started working from whosawhatsis's minimalist design for the Minimalistic Mk7 dimensional data replacement, then redesigned it using compatible SW software. To make this process easier for others to replicate, I provided files in Solidworks, Step, and STL formats that can be used for a seamless redesign (although unfortunately, no SCAD files are available - try FreeCad if you need to revert back to SCAD). I've included all the design details which should simplify the modification of this part for anyone else. Key Remix Features: The redesign incorporates enlarged spring seat holes, an expanded filament slot on the lever arm with added support in the middle of the slot, and a small fillet was applied to both top & bottom printing surfaces to create uniform print edges. The overall features were smoothed out & refined. I also separated the individual parts which can be easily assembled using slicing software if required. However, I haven't printed these yet - further updates will follow once they are printed.
