Minimalistic Filament Spool

Minimalistic Filament Spool

I was missing a filament spool and I needed one that could be put together quickly. So, I decided to build my own extremely basic one. You just need a few M3x16-mm-screws, washers, and nuts. The inner tube stays firmly in place when held by the ring. If not, you can secure the two rings with glue. The spool is not exceptionally strong, but it doesn't have to be. I made it with 35% infill and 0.4 mm walls using PLA/PHA. If something breaks, I'll make another one with thicker walls and more infill. But for now, this works great. It fits in the original UMO spool holder perfectly, and since it's a bit larger than regular spools, it keeps the filament much straighter.
