Minimalistic fan duct (parametric FreeCAD)
prusaprinters
A minimalistic fan duct I use on my living room radiator to distribute the warm air faster and save costs. The wall power supply for the fans is controlled by a temperature switch, so that the fans only run when the radiator has more than 35 ° C. You can easily create ducts in other sizes by altering some of the parameters in the dim spreadsheet:dicke_oben — thickness of the duct above the fan, set to approx. one extrusion widthdicke_unten — thickness of lower part of the duct , 2 * extrusion widthhoehe_oben — height from bottom of fan to tophoehe_unten — height from ground to bottom of fanseite_dreieck — lenght of the triangles holding the fan in placeluefter_mass — size of the fan plus a little toleranceluefter_hoehe — height of the fan Printed in PETG for better heat resistance, 0.3 mm layer height, no supports.
