Minimalist Wireless QI Charger
thingiverse
I remixed the simple charger from DonJuanito and redesigned it in DesignSpark Mechanical, stripping away unnecessary features to create a sleeker design. I removed the logo at the top of the case and made some tweaks to ensure that all components fit perfectly together. If you want a custom logo or design element added to your case, just let me know and I'll take care of it for you. To assemble the charger, simply slide the circuit board into the slots at the bottom of the case. If you prefer, you can de-solder or solder the LED to get a snug fit; otherwise, carefully bend its leads in an "S" shape, making sure they don't touch each other. Once assembled, insert the antenna into the top case. Plug your power adapter into the charging unit and watch as it springs to life - mine turns blue for a moment before shifting to red. Next, place your phone on top of the charger, and it should turn blue again, signaling that charging has begun. I'm already planning another project - building a wireless charger for my truck. Stay tuned for updates on that one!
