Update ** Added TH3D EZABL mounts to right side duct. Both 18mm and 12mm available. Offset 18mm (47,0,0) - 12mm (44,0,0) I wanted to create a dual fan duct for my Sunlu S8 that was minimalist in design but gave adequate cooling. I am in the process of running some tests, but so far it is preforming better than I had hoped. Let me know in the comments what you think! I tried to reduce the amount of printed material needed, while still maintaining good structural integrity, so the blowers were used as part of the structure. Hot End Options: There are two version available, one for the original Sunlu S8 Hot end and the other I designed for the Phaetus DragonFly (Great hotend BTW) . Since the DragonFly is similar in dimension to the Creality and the MicroSwiss hot ends, The Phaetus version should work with these and others. But I have not tested them myself. If you try them out let me know if they work. Blower configuration: You have the option of using two blowers or one, either left or right. If you use the single blower configuration, just use the file Miniml_Blower_Blank.stl in place of one of the blowers. ** Update on Fan cover** - The Miniml_Fan_Cover.stl does add noise, so I recommend the Miniml_Fan_Cover_Light.stl since it is much quieter. I am still working on other designs to see which is the quietest. There are 6 parts that will need to be printed: 3 parts needed for both hot end styles: - Miniml_Duct_R.stl - For single blower choose one L or R - Miniml_Duct_L.stl - Miniml_Fan_Cover.stl - or Miniml_Fan_Cover_Light.stl - Miniml_Blower_Blank.stl - Print only if using single blower 3 Parts for Phaetus or other CR10 style hot End: - Miniml_Mount_DragonFLy.stl - Mounted to Carriage plate - Miniml_Lock_Key_DragonFLy.stl - Lock for the right side of mount to Carriage plate - Miniml_Fan_Duct_DragonFLy.stl - Fan Duct 3 Parts for stock hot End: - Miniml_Mount_StockHE.stl - Mounted to Carriage plate - Miniml_Lock_Key_StockHE.stl - Lock for the right side of mount to Carriage plate - Miniml_Fan_Duct_StockHE.stl - Fan Duct Hardware required: - 4010 Blowers, Qty 1 or 2 - M3x6mm, Qty 2 - for mount to Carriage plate, can also use stock 3x8mm - M3x20mm, Qty 4 - mount of fan cover, fan and duct - M2x10mm, qty 8, - I recommend Traxxas M2x10mm self tapping, but most 2x10mm will work. https://traxxas.com/products/parts/8167 Installation: 1 - Attach ducts onto blowers 2 - Install back two 2x10mm screws on left blower to the mount 3 - put mount with left duct onto the Carriage plate and attach with two M3 screws 4 - Snap lock onto right side of mount on the two notches 5 - Install back two xx10mm screws on the right blower 6 - Install hot end 7 - Assemble duct, fan, and fan Cover using 4 3x20mm screws 8 - route LED and install on right side of the duct 9 - Install remaining blower screws onto the fan cover 10 - Zip tie wiring to mount
