A minimalist chess set, inspired by the work of Josef Hartwig. The shape of each piece, despite being very simple, indicates the legal moves it can do. I found this shape-functionality relationship very very satisfying, and made this 3D printable version. I love it, i hope you'll enjoy yourself playing chess with this set as much as i do. The pieces are 35mm on each side, which fits very nicely on a 45mm size game board, but you can always scale them down.
