Minimalist "2018" Transistor Tester Stand
thingiverse
A compact stand for positioning this type of transistor tester at a comfortable viewing angle. Also, a small lever extender add-on is included. Hardware: * Glue (I used JB Weld, superglue and similar adhesives should also work well) * 2-4 M3 screws, 16mm long * Possibly 2-4 M3 nuts Print the face and base separately, with flat sides facing down. Attach them together using glue and secure the tester with screws. The holes may require nuts for a secure fit. The face plate features a flat surface perpendicular to the base plate for easy clamping during assembly. However, my fit was tight enough that I didn't need clamps. Lever knob (print upright, with hollow side facing down) slides onto the stand with a slight friction fit. Unfortunately, ThingiVerse's orientation and Cura's import settings are not ideal for printing, so I've added a screenshot of the recommended print orientation in Cura. The face is tilted at 30 degrees from vertical, requiring a rotation of 60 degrees or -120 degrees, depending on the reference point. Transistor tester used (does not include USB - 9V adapter): * [Affiliate link](https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5338475932&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F122678094872) * [Non-Affiliate link](https://www.ebay.com/itm/122678094872) USB 9V Step up power used (ensure the 9V option is selected): * [Affiliate link](https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5338475932&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F201864659139) * [Non-Affiliate link](https://www.ebay.com/itm/201864659139)
