Minimal two-color extruder indicator, magnetic, no glue

<p>There are many extruder movement indicators, and I was looking for something simple, so here is my own take.</p> <p>This is a collection of a number of indicators, printed in two colors (black and orange Prusament PETG in my case, to complement the MK3S color scheme).</p> <p>This requires three small (6 or 8mm) magnets (I used 6mm round x 2mm thick) to attach it to the shaft:</p> <ul> <li>one of the magnets simply goes onto the extruder shaft;</li> <li>the other two magnets go on either side of the movement indicator "cup" and sandwich it in place</li> <li>finally, the bottom magnet is attached to the extruder-shaft magnet</li> </ul> <p>No glue required, it's reversible, reusable!</p> <p>Openscad file include for your tinkering pleasure. This was done on MacOS. You can easily add your own in the table at the beginning. It uses unicode from the wingdings font (but can of course be anything else), and the parameters in the table are for rotation, font size, y offset, and x-offset.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>PETG, 2 colors, 0.15mm layer height, no support, printed face down on textured bed.</p>
