minimal spinner
thingiverse
My youngest child and her small hands were having no luck with the other spinners we've printed out, so I designed one that uses zip ties to secure hex nuts in place without adding extra width that could cause problems for small hands. Any reasonable size hex nut can be easily secured onto the body using a zip tie. The design should fit a 608 bearing with minimal effort, and the holes for zip ties are large enough to use without requiring any additional tooling. My goal was to keep everything as simple and minimalist as possible for fast printing, and I'm open to further minimizing if needed. This design was created using Tinkercad, and it can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/lbB7eIwRQHr.
