Prusa i3 x-ends designed for maximum functionality while minimizing filament usage are available with built-in adjustable tensioners. Taking inspiration from odino's design, I've incorporated a built-in adjustable idler and separators for the LM8UUs into my version. I also added an in-built z height adjustor (which had been previously featured on a different x motor piece used in my i3 kit) as per the 10/20/14 edit; check out the STL file "x-end_zippy_SemiU_zadj.stl" to learn more. Download the github repository, where you'll find a SCAD file complete with its necessary dependencies at https://github.com/gcolbourn/Prusa3-SemiU Instructions: To build this project, use an M4x25 bolt paired with an M4 nut and four M4 washers for idler assembly. The LM8UUs benefit from this design. Note that threading the cable ties may be a bit challenging due to their thin material; I'd appreciate any advice on simple methods for managing them. Next, fit the z adjustor into place by inserting an M3x25 bolt and securing it in place. Place the endstop below the assembly. Then turn the M3x25 bolt with an alan key, precisely adjusting your home position - typically one turn corresponds to 0.5mm of travel.
