minimal J-head bracket bowden extruder
thingiverse
I've modified this design http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26817. I really like the mini-size j-head bracket, but I wanted to install a bigger fan to cool down both the hotend and printed pieces effectively. To achieve this goal, I used this fanduct for 40mm fans http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:389013 - it works great! I've tested this design with a J-head for 3mm filament on my big coreXY. The original design was created for the Prusa i3. The single j-head mount has holes for the standard prusa i3 single plate carriage. In the scad file, there's a code for double brackets to mount a double j-head hotend. To install the double bracket, you'll need to print the "bar" as well - it's all included in the scad file. I've only tested the single bracket; let me know if you end up printing the double one! It was designed to use pneumatic fit with 1/8 threaded nuts.
