Minimal Filament Rack
thingiverse
Hi, while i was looking for a suitable Filament Rack, i pretty much only came across Wallmounts that are entirely printed and use quite a lot of plastic or i kinda would need extra parts. So i tinkered around in Autodesk Fusion for a bit with the stuff in mind i had at hand. Feel free to Remix as you see fit =D I highly suggest you at least print the parts in PLA+ or something similar with some flexibility. To assemble it you need a 7,7mm (+/- a teeny bit) aluminum extrusion (i got mine from a hardware store here in Germany, “Toom”) and 19mm diameter pipes/sticks/whatever. You ether can use some CA Glue to fix the aluminum extrusions or drill holes in it and put screws in. For the horizontal extrusion i used 200mm in length and for the diagonal part 225mm (both numbers are rough numbers) ATTENTION: THE MOVABLE PIPE HOLDER PART WILL NOT BE PERFECTLY FLUSH ON YOUR HOTBED! SET IT FLAT BY HAND!!!
