A crucial attachment that fits neatly over the hotbed stepper and prevents the cable from getting caught. If your Ender 3 hotbed cable drifts off course to the right, this solution will keep it in check. However, if the cable veers left instead, this won't be of any help. If you're determined to use it anyway when the cable goes left, simply detach the hotbed and flip it 360 degrees so that the cable now veers right. Of course, you'll also need to re-level your table afterwards. The effort just isn't worth it. I actually designed this a year ago but kept forgetting to upload it. ### Why I Didn't Use an Existing Solution Why didn't I use one of the chain-style cable guides that already exist? I've seen too many industrial-quality ones break, and printing a chain guide would take a lot of time and plastic. Another reason was that I wanted an excuse to design something new. This attachment is small, which made iteration quick. ### How to Install Hold it horizontally with the hook away from the printer. Align the pin with the shaft hole in the rear of the stepper and rotate 45 degrees. It should fit snugly, with the clips fitting over the protrusions on the rear motor housing. Slide the table to the rear and verify clearance with the upper clip.
