Minimal Chess SetI designed this set for quick games, studying theory and trying out moves without having to buy a full-size set. The entire set can be broken down and stored away easily.The boardThe board itself consists of 4 segments that can be attached together with 5x1mm magnets. The appropriate mounting locations for the magnets are located along the inner sides of each segment.You will need a total of 24 magnets (diameter 5mm, height 1mm).The specific ones I used can be found here (Amazon Germany): https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CHJWF721The black and white tiles can be printed seperately, so no AMS is required!The piecesI wanted a minimalistic set that can be printed without supports.The individual pieces follow the same rounded aesthetic of the board and fit perfectly inside the chamfered tiles.I used 20% gyroid infill and 0.2mm layer height for my pieces, which came out great.
