MiniLathe tailstock crank
thingiverse
Today, I damaged the crank wheel on my mini lathe; thus, I decided to manufacture a new one. It appears that this replacement is stronger than the original part. To fix it, I removed the thin mesh from the 16mm hole using a xacto knife. After ensuring proper alignment of the worm screw hole, I inserted an M8 nut into the hex cavity and fastened the handle peg and worm screw. Now, my lathe is functional once more!
