Minigun barrel spacers [cosplay]
thingiverse
I used Fusion 360 to remake some barrel spacers for a minigun prop I've been working on for my Mandalorian cosplay. The original spacers were cut and drilled from wood but kept splintering and became a hassle to sand into a smooth piece for painting. Getting started with 3D modeling, I chose to recreate the spacer in Fusion 360 using measurements from the original one. I modeled it and printed it out at 100% infill to ensure maximum strength and it turned out great, probably better than the original wood ones. Dimensions for the barrel holes are 15/16" to accept 3/4" CPVC barrels, and the central drive hole is spec'd for 3/8" to accept an all-thread that's directly connected to the motor. This might be helpful for anyone with a similar build. Minigun: https://imgur.com/e0qtM2O
