To adapt a MiniExtruder-drive for RepRapPro-hotends on a standard Prusa i3/i3 mini printer, initial tests appear promising. The extruder features 24mm and 30mm mounting holes with M3 bolts, compatible with a Nema14 stepper motor like the MiniExtruder. For a matching hobbed bolt, send a PM or email to 3d.andy(AT)gmx.net. Two STL files are available: one with and one without support material for the motor flange and idler bearing. The extruder drive is nearly identical to the original MiniExtruder but lacks the bowden tube and mounting screws. Use the RepRapPro hotend after cutting the bowden tube to fit the extruder drive, as shown in pictures. Finally, secure the heatsink and fan during assembly, also depicted in images.
