Summer is really, really long and you have to entertain the puppies. I've made a little something for playing spies and encrypted messages. So far, I've only come up with one template, but the idea is to make 3 or 4 different models. The kids have a blast and at the same time do some "work". I'm posting the Excel file to generate the encrypted matrices (automated) and the AutoCAD file if someone wants to customize it a bit. I think I'll reduce the size of the matrix a little, since it comes out pretty big (for small kids like mine, it's fine). Ideas are popping up to complicate it a bit with sliding pieces. Maybe I'll get into that this summer. If Alan Turing had a Prusa...
