miniEngine Version 2 Case 1.0
thingiverse
On 06-22-15, I added a second port cover for 8-pin aviation connectors to this RJ45-featuring miniEngine-V2 case. The part is plug and play, requiring no additional reprinting of other parts. This design accommodates RJ45 jacks instead of telephone connections to simplify the setup and enhance aesthetics by combining limit switches and motor power on a single cable. Expect updates as I continue using the device, with Version 1 being the current iteration. The miniEngine is an Arduino-based intervalometer and multi-axis motion controller for time-lapse and video photography. It builds upon the OpenMoCo system, providing an open-source, lightweight solution for in-field use with a powerful user interface. It prioritizes high configurability to work seamlessly with various camera tracks and dolly systems. The miniEngine utilizes stepper motors, enabling affordable motion control systems with exceptional precision and move repetition. Visit http://www.minie.airiclenz.com/ for more information.
