miniEngine Version 2.1 Case 2.0
thingiverse
This is a case I designed specifically for my engine, choosing aviation connectors over telephone connectors for a cleaner, stronger connection. A loose connection during a timelapse that lasts hours can be disastrous, so it's crucial to get it right. I deliberately designed this case around the screen I prefer, not the one that's commonly recommended - you can check it out here: http://www.amazon.com/SainSmart-Arduino-Mega2560-Raspberry-Display/dp/B00J9AAZMK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8. The accessibility of this option was a major factor in my decision, as I was able to find it easily at a nearby shop. If you're interested in a case for the older screen, try my original design here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:241814. I've included side panels with no pre-drilled holes, allowing you to cut and drill your own connectors as needed. For more information on the parts I used and designed, check out this link: http://www.minie.airiclenz.com/. Assembly instructions are coming soon, but I'm still testing the case before making them available.
