Minicraft MB1012 drill press, customizable clamps and quick release

If you have a Dremel 3000 or 4000, check out the original design or one of the remixes, but consider using my quick releases - maybe with a washer between release and clamp for extra security. If you're using a Minicraft drill or any other drill that needs custom clamps, then this project is perfect for you! I designed a drill press for my Minicraft drill and it required different clamps than the original. I also wanted quick releases but couldn't find any suitable ones on the market. To help others with similar projects, I've provided SCAD files so people can modify them as needed. Since Thingiverse's customizer is slow and often crashes my browser, I prefer to use OpenSCAD directly. You can easily adjust the ring's position relative to the base by tweaking the code - even changing the rotate angle is possible. However, be aware that going overboard with this adjustment might result in some odd gaps. Before you start printing, make sure to add the nutsnbolts library to your OpenSCAD libraries directory. You can find it on GitHub: https://github.com/JohK/nutsnbolts. As a beginner with OpenSCAD, I apologize for my coding style - it's definitely not perfect. The Minkowski function is particularly slow, so don't worry if it seems like the program has crashed initially. Enjoy building your custom drill press! P.S. After re-examining the design, I realized that a nylock nut is necessary to keep the lever in place when pulling it down. Simply attach the nylock nut to the outside of the handle part, followed by a washer and then the plain nut on the inside.
